Marie takes a great deal of care to develop presentations that are impactful, memorable, and just what you’re looking for. Having worked with companies, non-profit organizations, universities, and conference committees, she has experience in just about any setting.

The process is straightforward and stress-free.

From start to finish, Marie will personally be communicating with you. She’s eager to learn whatever she can about your group’s needs to prepare for your specific event. Whether you’d like her to take care of every step or involve you throughout the entire process, we’ll move in the direction that you see fit.

Open to work with whatever plans you have in mind.

Marie has established herself as an excellent communicator across formats. She delivers virtual presentations and in-person workshops; often works with Employee Resource Groups as they build out their programming; participates in first-time events and conferences; and collaborates with organizations on unique projects.

Put an end to the constant search by forming an ongoing partnership.

On many occasions, Marie is invited to return as a recurring speaker. There are multiple benefits to hearing a continuous, unified message throughout the year. Deeper learning and richer conversations take place; each message builds on previous concepts; and you enjoy consistency and simplicity throughout the process. Your DEI committee will thank you for it.

If you’re interested in Marie’s greatest hits, here are potential presentations we can build on and adapt for your event.

  • Privilege isn’t really about privilege. It’s about stewarding. In this presentation, I’ll teach you how to elevate privilege from a passive reality to an active role. Privilege shouldn’t make us feel guilty. Our privileges should make us feel motivated to make a change in the world. I’ll teach you to steward your privileges well.

  • Racism and racial insensitivity are often confused with each other, but they are opposite issues: hatred and apathy. In this presentation, I’ll teach you how to recognize the difference between racism and racial insensitivity. Different problems need different solutions. Understand the root issue so you can respond well.

  • White people are often confused about what role they should play, if any, in conversations about race. In this presentation, I give compelling reasons why white people are needed in the antiracism movement and clear guidance on how to become an every day change-maker.
